6. No history of epilepsy
7. No external and internal parasites (fleas, ticks, worms, etc) (If your bitch is brought in person)
8. Negative brucellosis test required before breeding (If your bitch is brought in person)
Brucellosis is a disease caused by a bacteria, Brucella canis. It is found throughout the world. It is spread through contact with aborted fetuses and discharges from the uterus of infected bitches, during mating, through maternal milk and possibly through airborne transmission in some cases. The bacteria enters the body through mucous membranes and spreads from there to lymph nodes and the spleen. It also spreads to the uterus, placenta and prostate gland as well as other internal organs at times. In female dogs, infection leads to abortion or early death of infected puppies. Infected females may have no other clinical signs. In some cases there may be decreased fertility rather than abortion. This may be due to resorption of fetuses early in their development.
9. Proof of Bordetella (If your bitch is brought in person)
Bordetella is the most common cause of tracheobronchitis (kennel cough) in dogs. It is a bacterial illness that is most common among dogs that congregate at things like shows, kennels or other places frequented by large numbers of dogs at once. It does not appear that this bacterin gives a full year of immunity in many instances. For dogs that are often exposed to situations in which the infection is likely probably should be vaccinated twice a year. There are intra-nasal as well as subcutaneous bacterins available for this disease. The intra-nasal bacterin confers immunity more quickly but the injectable version may last longer.
10. Strong Recommendation: All puppies must be sold with an AKC limited registration, except those being kept by the owner/breeder for future breeding stock.

Some reasons for unsuccessful mating:
Infections - recommend that you put your bitch on antibiotics prior to coming into heat - consult your veterinarian.
Improper timing of the mating - recommend progesterone testing to determine when your bitch has ovulated - consult your veterinarian. Insemination of the chilled semen should take place the day of or day after ovulation. To maximize the litter potential, insemination of your bitch again two days later.
