Black Rock Labradors
The Kennel name "Black
Rock" (massive black rock formation) comes from one of
the highest points in western Tippecanoe county in northwest Indiana.
The peak named "Black Rock" over looks the scenic view of the
Wabash river.
Dale
lived nearby and has hunted the hills near Black Rock and treasures it as
some of the finest hunting in the midwest. Black Rock represents to us a
safe haven and a solid foundation to build on.

County - Black Rock The 475 mile long Wabash River (Wabash
River: A tributary of the Ohio River that rises in western Ohio and flows
southwestward across Indiana) bisects the state from northeast to southwest
and has given Indiana two themesongs, the state song On the Banks of the
Wabash as well as The Wabash Cannonball.
I have always been partial to the color "black" since our first Lab was black and black labs look great going in & coming out of the water. However I love & raise all three colors in yellow, chocolate and black.
I am a hobby breeder and raise a litter once a year. Most of my puppies are sold on AKC Limited Registration. My Labrador Retrievers are excellent retrievers as well as show, obedience & companions.
My Labrador Retrievers are trained in the field for hunting, basic
obedience, AKC hunt tests & LRC Inc.working certificates.
