Bronco was whelped July 26, 2001.  He comes from a black and yellow litter.  Bronco has 2 other black brothers.  He has 5 sisters of those 3 black and 2 yellow. Bronco has a happy spirit with no fear. He has tons of attitude for the show ring and tons of drive for the field. Bronco is owned by Mitch Walker of Valparasio, IN.

On 2/9 Bronco won 1st place in American Bred under Judge Miss Maxine V. Beam at the Hoosier KC show at the Indiana State Fair grounds, Indianapolis, IN.  

On 2/8 Bronco won 1st place in American Bred class under Judge Mr. Rodger R. Hartinger at the Central Indiana KC show at the Indiana State Fair grounds, Indianapolis, IN.  

On 2/1 Bronco won 1st place in American Bred class class under Judge Mr. Walter J. Sommerfelt at the Anderson KC show in Muncie, In.

Nickles at the Marion K.C.  On 11/01 Bronco won 1st place in class 12-18 month dogs and won Winners Dog for (2 points) under Judge Mr. Luiz F.R. Silva at the Sturgis K.C. On 10/31 Bronco won 1st place in class 12-18 month dogs under Judge Mrs. Dorothy O. Hutchinson at the Laport Co. K.C. at Ft Wayne, IN.  

On 10/26 Bronco won 4th place under Sweeps Judge Ms. Margaret Krohn.  On 10/27 Bronco won 2nd place under Judge Lori Isenhath in his class 15 - 18 month dog at the Central Ohio Labrador Retriever Club Specialty in Deleware, Ohio.

On 9/28, Bronco won 1st place in his class 12-18 months dog under Judge Ms. Dorothy D. Nickles at the Marion Michinan K.C. at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

On 9/15, Bronco won his class 12-18 months dog, and went onto take Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Breed under Judge: Mrs. Carole A. Beattie at the Lafayette K.C. at the Boone County fairgrounds, Lebanon, IN. (2 points)

On 9/14, Bronco won 1st place in 12-18 month dog class and won Reserve Winners Dog under Judge: Miss Dorothy Macdonald at the Central Indiana KC held at the Boone County fairgrounds, Lebanon, IN.

On 8/18, Bronco won 1st place in the 12-18 month dog class under Mrs. Sue Sellers Rose at the Anderson Kennel Club in Muncie IN.

On 6/1, Bronco (Champ) won 1st place in puppy dog class 9-12 month class and went on to win Best Opposite Puppy in Match under Breeder/Judge Barbra Holl at the HLRCInc B-Match at Brownsburg, IN.

On 4/21, Bronco won 2nd place in puppy dogs under Judge: Mr. William Bergum at the Mattoon K.C. at the Wabash Valley Fairgrounds, Terre Haute, IN.

On 4/20, Bronco won 2nd place in puppy dogs under Judge: Mr. Richard Beauchamp at the Terre Haute K.C. at the Wabash Valley Fairgrounds, Terre Haute, IN.

On 3/3, Bronco champ won 2nd  place in dog class 6-9 months old (Class size 19) under Judge Mrs. Bonnie P. Threlfall at the Hoosier Labrador Retriever Club Specialty at the Tippecanoe County FairGrounds, Lafayette, IN.

On 11/3/01 Bronco won 1st place in the puppy dog class 2-4 month class under Breeder/Judge Tom Shearer at the Fulton County Ohio KC B- Match at Ft. Wayne, IN shown by Curtis Brummett.

In the field:

Bronco's first retrieve: Champretrieving

Bronco loves to retrieve and has been making 75 yard water retrieves.  Bronco has an outstanding water entry and tons of drive.

Clearances:

On 12/16/03 Bronco's hips were certified by OFA to be Good - LR-137935G27M-PI.

On 3/23/03 Bronco's eyes were cleared as normal by Dr. Vestre  DVM, DACVO, Veterinary Ophthalmic Consulting, 8250 Bash Street, Indianapolis, IN.

On 1/18/02 Bronco's eyes were cleared as normal by the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN.

On 2/6/02 Bronco's hips were x-rayed and found to be Good hips by the Zionsville Veterinarian Clinic.

Whelped June 29, 2003:  Yellows and Blacks

Hi Linda and Dale - We are happy to report that Bronco is a Daddy! We had pups yesterday afternoon and have such a beautiful litter! We have 8 gorgeous pups- 5 yellows and 3 blacks. Blacks - 1 female and 2 males. Yellows - 4 females and 1 male. Everyone is healthy and strong.
