Brigett X Vino

Hi Dale:  Greetings from an extended part of the Black Rock family --we adopted Delphi from you in April of 2000 -- she was among the Bridgette and Vino litter. It is hard to believe that it has been almost nine years since we brought her home, but we can't imagine life without her. As you can see from the pictures, she remains a true lab -- full of life and energy, loves the water and is so much fun to have around. Two years after Delphi, we adopted her sister Murphy, the yellow, and Delphi enjoys being Alpha Dog in our pack. Thank you for the wonderful labs you raise. You will likely hear from us again in the future as we anticipate expanding our family again soon. I have attached some pictures which show how beautiful she has become as an adult dog.We hope all is well with you and yours. Best, Devon Hensel Brandon Sorge

Luna and Jones family:  Luna4 As of 9/2, we haven't given you an update for a long time. We cannot believe that Luna is already a year and a half old. She is the best dog!!! She loves walks and playing frisbee. You guys were right she is a very determined dog and gets very intense when we play frisbee with her. Tori and Parker are very attached to her and Luna licks them in the morning to wake them up for school. she weighs about 58 lbs. and enjoys being around people. hope all is well with you guys. sincerely, Seth, Patty, Tori and Parker Jones.

A Testimony:

As of 10/13, Black Rock Emily passed her 4th leg for her Junior Hunting title at the LRC fall Hun Test.

Hi~~Just wanted you to know that Emily passed her Hunt Test in Madison, WI on 9/1/01.  Her runs were letter perfect, so enjoyable to watch. The water birds were in HEAVY lily pads with a brisk wind blowing, not an easy mark for a Jr. Hunter. She did it with absolutely no problem. Unbelievable!!  Yesterday, I took her to Horicon, WI for her third leg. I was very nervous, as Mike always does this. No need to be tho. She knows what to do and does it so well.

Black Rock Emily JH - 10/22/00 Hi~ Just had to fill you in on Emily's (dob 2/l4/00) first duck hunt. Saturday was the first duck hunt not only for Emily but Mike and I also. I went to witness. Mike shot 2 blue wing teals within 3 min. of set-up. The problem was, Emily was still under the camo material we used to camouflage our bass boat. She did not get to mark the fall. After some coaxing she bailed off the back of the boat, swam thru the decoys retrieved the first one with both of us yelling encouragement and jumping up and down. She went back out for the second, looked at us frantically giving hand signals and then retrieved the second. WOW!! We just could not have been any more proud. Her second chance came about 30 min. later. This time everything was perfect. Mike shot, Emily marked and at the command "fetch" she dove off the boat, swam directly to the duck, brought it back and was ready for more. She LOVES it!! We love it!! She'll be doing more I'm sure. Once again, thank you for a GREAT dog!!!  Glenda and Mike Graber

10/18/00, I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you how much we enjoy our Blacklab pup Bogey. Bogey was part of the first spring litter between Brigett and Vino. Since we got her when I had first moved to Indy from the Charlotte area, she quickly became my best friend. Bogey has been such a blessing since it is hard to adjust to a new town etc. By having to take her out on walks and play with her outside, I have been forced to meet and greet the neighbors. She also has been wonderful at potty training and house training in general. We have been very pleased. Her favorite thing is a little red football which she loves to play fetch with. Bogey also gets very excited if she can find a stick and get anyone to play with her. She also has a little spot in our house that she can sit and look out the window and wait for my husband to get home from work. She is like clock work and sits there every day at the same time waiting for him. Finally, we love how much she loves people. Bogey is our little shadow and follows us wherever we go. We are very pleased with our pup and think she is a perfect addition to our family! I wanted to take a minute to let you know how much we have enjoyed her and plan on continuing to enjoy her for many years to come. Sincerely, Jon and Tara Everson -Zionsville, IN
